Mr. Miller, pls: requesting the entire imm file (extended CAIPS) - processing time?
Dear Mr. Miller,
My friend has filed a request through Canadian relatives for the entire imm file in the mid-August and has no info up till now.
I've read here that on average it takes up to 3 months, but can it take longer, and how much longer?
He applied for:
1. visitor visa - approved in Kiev, Ukraine
2. visitor visa extension - refused in Vegreville, Canada
3. skilled imm visa - refused in Warsaw, Poland.
Please advise how long will it take (judging from your experience) to get the entire imm file in the end?

It takes about 3 to 5 months. Why entire file though? Doesn't he have copies
of everything he submitted?

He wants to reapply, part of the copies are available, but some docs are missing.
