Dear Mr. Miller;
I submitted my application in Feb. 02 and got file no. in May. At
that time my status was F-1 but now I got my H1-B since April 02.
1. Should I inform Buffalo, NY that I changed my visa status? But my
experience in homeland was more than 5 years and I also graduated from
American universities.
2. If yes. What documents should I submit? Someone in this forum are
mentioned about pay stub, employee letter, photocopy of H1-B. When I
submitted the application, I just did not mention where I'm working
because I did not want my employer to know what my future plans are.
The employer is treating me very bad if he knew he may terminate my
H1-B.
3. Assume that I have to submit my current employer letter. If I can
find a new job and get my H1 transfer then I have to submit NEW H1-B
again. Will this confuse Buffalo, NY and will delay my application?
Thank you so much
Shakeel

You will be asked for updated proof of status in US anyway and if it is H1 then
you will also be asked for employment reference letters, so sooner or later you
have to deal with it. But wait until you get assessment notice if US employment
experience won't benefit your case at this time.
