Mr. Miller, others: Another Landing Question
Hello again,
This may sound silly, but is there any problem with landing by train?
In this case, where would the landing paperwork be done; i.e. at the border
or at the train station in Vancouver?
Thank you.
Henry

Re: Mr. Miller, others: Another Landing Question
No particular problem and landing would be at the border. Any others landed
by train?

Thank you very much for your reply.
I do not know anybody who has landed by train. Hope someone would post their
experience.

Re: Mr. Miller, others: Another Landing Question
No problems landing by train as long as you meet the requirements. CCRA officers
would come to you asking for travel documents. Gates would be secure and no one
would be able to disembark the train for any reason. Tell them that you are
landing and then you would get an immigration agent.
If you need to bring goods later, you need to get the "Goods to follow" list
validated at the time of landing.
This is what happens in the eastern part of Canada and I do not know what they
would do in Western Canada because of local conditions.
Good Luck.

Re: Mr. Miller, others: Another Landing Question
Would the train be delayed as a result?
He might be very popular with his fellow train passengers if so
