Mr Miller Need Help regarding Quebec Immigration
Sir
I am willing to apply for the quebec immigration.I am well qualifed in
French too.I assessed myself in the self assessment given in the
quebec govt web site and scoring 59 points .I also dowmloaded the
quebec application forms(Application for selecton certificate) and
instruction to fill the form from the quebec web site.As i feel that i
am qulaified and having the application form downloaded from the
quebec web site i feel there is a not a need for me to fill the
preliminary app form first and wait for another 3 months and again
filling up the second form.
My Question is
Is it a rule that i need to send the preliminary application form
first and only after that positive result i need to fill up the
application form?
or
straight away i can fill up the quebec application forms(Application
for selecton certificate)without filling and sending the preliminary
assessment form because i am 100% sure of scoring the reasonable pass
mark?

Re: Mr Miller Need Help regarding Quebec Immigration
You may send application for CSQ without going through the preliminary
application stage - but some Quebec offices don't like it and you may have
it returned.

As far as I can see it, the main advantage of the demande preliminaire d'immigration is that it is free. I guess if you were unsure of your chances, it is a good way of testing the water without paying the fee for the CSQ.

I sent CSQ Application directly w/o preliminary and was asked for an interview right after w/o any problem.. I don't see any problem.... If you are certain about your chances, it will save you some time, too...

It would be interesting to hear people's opinions on which mark on the Quebec site it would be worth sending off for the CSQ directly - I had 60 (or 64, if they think my profession is one of those in demand.)
