Default Mr. Miller, Mr. Metcalfe, others: Landing Question

Hello everybody,

What documents (beside the landing paper and the visa in the passport) does
one need for landing?

I noticed from some other posts that you must also take your funds/proof of
funds with you.

Do I really need proof of funds at the time of landing?

What if my money is already in Canada? I gave my bank letter to the officer
during the interview last month.

I still have a copy of it but it will be about 6 weeks old at the time of
landing. Will that be enough at the POE or do I need to get a new one from
my bank? Getting a fresh one would be a hassle for me right now because my
contact person at the bank is on medical leave and I do not know who to
contact (I only have the email address and extension of this person, and now
I cannot get hold of anybody else at the bank; just prerecorded automated
menus).

Thanks in advance.
Henry
