Mr. Miller et al
Honourable experts and members of this newsgroup:
Our application for PR was submitted on April 2002. We received our
assessment last July and everything they asked for has been sent
(Medicals, RCMP fingerprints etc). I have not heard of any March/April
applicant that has had his case finalized; therefore, I assume that
our process is still far from over. From information I've gathered,
our background/security check should not take as long as in other's
cases because of our nationality and educational/work background.
Nothing complicated here. Yet, I came across some contact numbers to
obtain info from the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS).
Information that might be of help to obtain a better idea of were our
case stands.
Any comments about this? Will they provide such info? Have you done it
before?
Thanks.

Re: Mr. Miller et al
Are you dreaming? CSIS will not even tell CIC what is the progress until
check is completed.
