I'm a single parent (Philippine citizen)and I'm planning to apply as a
skilled worker this May. I have a 1-yr 5 month old child. I listed
him as my dependent but he'll not accompany me to Canada. My child
will be living with my parents. My plan is to sponsor him after a
year, if ever i get the PR Visa. I'm not married and not living with
the father of my child but he acknowledged his faternity by signing in
the birth record. He's also not included in my application.

In our country, if the child is below 7 years, he/she will be in
parental custody of the mother. I've read about the Child Support
Agency in one of the threads. I don't have any idea or we don't have
any Child Support Agency here in the Philippines.

My questions are:
1. Do i still need the Proof of Custody?
2. Do i need to have a custody agreement between me and my parents?
3. What does it mean "that the child maybe removed from the
jurisdiction of the court"?

4. Is there any possibility that the visa officer still asks other
documents regarding my case2 If ever, what are these documents?
5. Do i need a letter from my son's father, since he acknowledged his
filiation by signing in the birth certificate?

I just want to know, so I can produce it now and be included in my
application. I don't know on how to go about these requirements. Your
advise will be highly appreciated.
