Mr Andrew Miller Please Help
I am a citizen of Lebanon living in the usa on an F-2 visa. I applied
along with my wife (she being the dependent) for the immigration in
spetember 2001, received interview waiver in september 2002 and was
requested to do medical exmas within 90 days. I sent the medicals in
october 2002 and since then still waiting for the security check.
Is it possible that they request to redo the medicals since a long
time has passed since the first results were sent?
I will go to canada on a student visa in august 2003 if I don't
receive my immigration documents by then. Will that complicate my
case? (specially that my wife will be staying in the usa to continue
her degree)
Thank you

Re: Mr Andrew Miller Please Help
If you guys live in US and your original medicals were perfect then it is
quite possible that medical officer will extend their validity if needed.
But you may as well be asked to undergo new medicals before visas are
granted.
Going to Canada on student visa should not complicate your case. But the
bigger question remains - will you be granted student permit in the first
place?
