Default Moving to Canada

I am planning on moving to canada as a skilled worker. I am a student in the US but originally from the caribbean islands. Does anyone have any idea as to which consulate office has a faster processing time, whether it is the one in the US or whichever one is set up for the caribbean islands?? And furthermore, which is the consulate office set up for the caribbean islands?

Keep in mind that you will need to have appropriate work experience of at least one year (full-time equivalent) to meet requirements. Depending on your country of citizenship, you will most likely need to apply through Port of Spain (Trinidad) or Port au Princie, Haiti (exception: if you're coming from Cuba, apply through Havana). See http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/offices/apply-where.html .

Good luck,

Jerry
