Default Moved: POSITIVE LMO

Hi, I got a positive LMO today. I read the letter and it states this doesnt constitute a working visa and that I have to apply for that now.

Is it a straightforward process from here on in?

How long does that part of the process take

Any advice greatly received

Thanks

Trax

My employer applied for the lmo, which is for two years. I just wondered if anyone else is in the same position

When it arrived it was positive and stated now I must submit for work permit?
Anyone in the same boat

Are you already in Canada?

If you are on a British passport (or any passport which allows you to enter Canada without a visitor visa - ie. TRP) you can apply for your work visa at POE (point of entry). Eg. You could go to Buffalo and re-enter.

Make sure you have all your paperwork on you: http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Catego...cation_process

If the OP doesn't have a study permit or an existing work permit s/he cannot apply to Vegreville.

wouldn't it be easier to go to the Niagara Falls/Buffalo border and get the Work Permit on the spot?
