One of the questions on the relationship form is along the lines of "were both sets of parents at your wedding? if not, why not?"

Might be a red flag to perceived authenticity of the marriage if you get married on the quiet?

Again, if you're doing the early marriage and doing a larger ceremony later then it's not exactly on the quiet because there's obviously a bigger celebration that everyone knows about. Plus many people probably would invite closer family for a smaller ceremony if it's convenient.
