Default Medicals to Ottawa.

Hi,
We did our medicals on Dec 29th,03 and according to the
doctor's, they had send those on Jan 5th,04 via 1st class mail.
Is there any way to find out if the medicals ever reached
Ottawa ?

thanks for the reply.

In our case, the doctor's office gave us the USPS tracking number, I
was able to track it, we did our medical on the 12th of february 2004,
this is what the online status check says "Your item was delivered
in CANADA at 9:07 am on March 01, 2004"

My doctor in Florida shipped my results to Ottawa via FedEx overnight,
that way I had a tracking number. Ask your doctor if they sent it
with delivery confirmation (where they scan the bar-code at the time
it is delivered; then you can track it at the USPS website.)

If it was sent international certified mail (if they're unsure, ask if
they attached a pink card to the envelope) don't be surprised if
you/they don't get a return receipt via the mail. Canada Post is
notorious for not sending the cards back to the U.S. after delivery.

Another alternative would be to have your doctor contact Ottawa to
ensure that it was indeed received.

Best of luck.
