Default Medicals Done, Landing Fee Deposited...Need your advice Mr.Miller & Experts..CHC Isb.

Dear Mr.Miller

I completed my medicals on 21/08/2004 and I have deposited the landing
fee and have sent my passport on 27/08/2004. I also checked with my doctor and he confirmed sending the medicals on 25/08/2004.

My question is that normally how much time will it approximately take
for the issuance of permanent residence visa ?

Secondly, I have been asked by my organization to attend a training
program in Dubai (UAE) and for this I have been asked to submit my
passport by 07/10/2004. This particular training program will last for
3-4 days.

What should I do in this regard ??

Should I write to CHC Islamabad to send back my passsport.

Mr.Miller and experts, I really need your suggestion / advice.

Regards,
Furqan

Have you been asked to submit passport by CHC Islamabad in the first place?

It may take anywhere from few months to well over a year from medicals to get visa.

Mr.Miller I was handed a special note by the immigration counsellor at
the end of the interview. On the note it was written:

'Submit all requested documents, passports and pay fee (if applicable) once you have completed the issued medical instructions.'

My interview was held on 24/08/2004.

Mr.Miller, thank you once again for your prompt reply.

Would appreciate if you could kindly answer my second question as well i.e.
the one concerning my training program in UAE.

Thanks & Kind Regards,
Furqan

It is highly unlikely that CHC Islamabad will return your passport before issuing or denying you a visa.
