Don't panic - slightly raised blood pressure really shouldn't be an issue. My Hubby had essential hypertension (VERY high BP) long before we came to Canada, for which he was already on medication (that AND high cholesterol). It didn't stop us getting in.

Good luck!

We had our meds in Canada and my 2 sons had their testicles checked as did Mr YCD plus he also had a prostrate check (he's 51).

I had a breast check and showed my results from my smear test done in the UK the previous year. Had I not had a copy then I would have had to undergo another one.

Rest of the tests were fine. Check-up was done at the docs near Halifax and blood tests and xrays done up here at our local hospital. My YCD sugar level was up (had just eaten lunch) so he had to get a blood test done a few days later which came back clear.
