Default Medical Request Letter Received Today!!!
We got our Medical Request letter today!!! only 3 weeks after we received our AOR, I'm soooooooooooooooo excited!!!

Applied under skilled worker to Nova Scotia in Jan 09, 120 day letter received April 09, docs returned to CHC London June 09, AOR received 22 July 09, Medical request letter 18 August. We originally submitted all the paperwork in Jan 08 but withdrew it in December and resubmitted under the new rules. Hope this helps.

Great blog. We share your frustration with the paperwork! I dropped off all of our documentation this morning at the CHC in London. Another waiting game begins.

And thanks Lorrden for the info - have to admit I am TOTALLY freaked out by the speed that you have been processed, tbh we are no prepared or ready to have it happen to us that fast (is that wrong?).

Where are you going to settle?

Great feeling isn't it !!

We had our X Rays today. We have re-scheduled the medical for sept. 10th as a good friend's funeral happened to be same time and same day as original meds.

Where you hoping to head ?

No, it's not wrong but just remember, if you are not ready to move by the time your visa's come through then you just have to go into canada and validate your visa's and then come back to uk until you are ready.

We are not bothered where we go at the moment, looking at Alberta and Ontario areas, just depends where the best jobs are available.

Great feeling, earliest we can get medicals is 19 Sep so fingers crossed!!! Not sure where we are heading, dcepends on employment. What about you?

I really hope my Medical Request comes through so quickly.

I'm still paranoid that I missed something vital or screwed up my application somehow. It's bloomin stressful this!
