Re: MEDICAL INFO
Hi I had a similar question earlier and didn't get reply.
As far as I understand all these exams are standard and are valid for
12 months. (I was told so by a CIC officer.) So, if you do your exam
for a visitor visa, you can use it for your immigration as long as it
is still valid. Since inland spousal application *usually* takes less
than a year for straight forward case, you should be fine.
When you apply for immigration, from within they ask you to provide
receipts from doctor, so keep those receipts. Also let them know for
which visa post you did your exam, so they can retrieve those results.
I first thought that those results were centralized. I did an exam for
a visitor extention for Vegreville office and thought that Buffalo
will be able to *see* those results. From CAIPs notes I understood
that they can't. I had to call Medical Officer in Ottawa and they
*uploaded* those results into the Buffalo systems.
Do any of you guys use your Medical exams for different visa posts?
I hope I am correct about this.
