Marrying a US citizen on Canadian Soil?
I've been known my boyfirned for about 8 years, we've been together for about 4 years. He lives in the US though and this long distance relationship is killing us. Emotionally and finacially. i've been looking all over the net and really can't find much information on how to marry him and have him live here in Canada with me. I have lots of information on how I can marry him and become a US citizen, but he wants to move to canada..
Can anyone help me out and find the information we need to have him be at my side?
Thanks in advance, any little bit of information helps.

There's a Canada section on this website that should be really useful for you. And you could try looking here..

You are in the right place but wrong forum. I am transferring your question to the Canadian immigration site which ironically is right below this one on expats.

Please note that marrying a US citizen does =not= cause one to gain
US citizenship -- at least, not right away. You could be sponsored
by your American spouse or fiancé(e) for immigration to the US as
a permanent resident ("green card" holder; analogous to being a
"landed immigrant" in Canada) -- and after living in the US in that
status for three years, you can apply for US citizenship.
Similarly, if you and your boyfriend get married, you can sponsor
him for immigration to Canada -- but he would become a permanent
resident ("landed immigrant"), not a Canadian citizen. He would
have to wait another three years before becoming eligible to apply
for citizenship.
As an aside, if either of you do end up immigrating to, and (even-
tually!) obtaining citizenship in, the other's country, the one who
does the moving will keep his/her original citizenship too (i.e.,
he/she will have "dual" citizenship). But that's another story.
