Marriage
Hello all,
Im posting this for a friend who doesn't know much about computers.
Anyhow he hopes that maybe some of you can give him an advice.
He has been in Canada for about 8 years (student), all along with visa,
all legit. Anyhow, he got married about two years ago, and last year his
wife decided to sponsor him, He said he is right about stage 1 approved,
very close, but not yet. Im not sure what that means. Anyhow, his
marriage is hitting a rocky road, and his wife wants a divorce.
Immigragion papers have been filed off in November, basically its been a
while for him. He is just wondering what will happen if his wife goes
through with a divorce, how will that affect him and his status in
Canada, and the future papers. He is petrified of going back to his old
country, so he would appricate a response from a knowlegable person.
He said his wife did sign the sponsorship agreement, and everything, but
there is too many differences between them, and she seems to be upset
over the fact that he is not bringing in any income (he is on visitor
visa currently)
If any of you have any suggestion, please post here, and I will get the
message to him
Thank you

Re: Marriage
I think she can take back her undertaking if no visa has been issued. Its a
difficult question to answer though without more details.

Re: Marriage
I don't belive that she wants to take her undertakings back. From what
my friend said, they are just not agreeing as a couple, but she is still
willing to sponsor him. This is nothing final, and I can ask for more
details if someone can give me more questions, I will ask him.
Thank you
