Default maintaining PR status

I'm a canadian PR at present residing in USA

My current company in USA got a project on Toronto. I will be working on that project. I will travel everyweek (Mon-Thu) from Atlanta, USA to Toronto, ON.Which means I will stay 4 days out of 7 days in Canada everyweek.I will be staying in Hotel.

Questions

1)If I fly everyweek, Will those 4 days I spend in Canada will be counted as I resided in Canada ie will these days counted for my citizenship or PR extension? If so, what is the proof for the Canadian Immigration people that I stayed in Canada? Will they scan my PR card or stamp my passport in airport?

2)For the same situatation above, is it any different If I drive into Canada instead of flying

3)Can i file canadian taxes if I do the above? Can I give my friends Canadian address as my address

I will be moving into Canada permenantly after 2 years

I think you will have a problem is showing you were in Canada all that time. No apartment lease, no telephone bills etc to show, few stamps in your passport - all these will make it difficult.

Hotel bills will do? My company is ready for an apartment lease (there will be atleast 2 to 3 people travelling). But we prefer hotels since we can accumulate AmEx and marriot points

Does living in a hotel actually count as proper residency? Would CIC look upon it as a visit rather than as a residing?
