Hi everyone,

I'm sponsoring my wife from London office - she is a polish national. We are both
living in London at the moment.

I have received a positive response to my sponsor application and we will be
submitting my wife's documents soon. I have a couple questions which I would be
grateful to receive answers to.. or comments:

1. How long do you think based on your experience until we get the Landing papers
for my wife? I'm aware of the different factors at work here, ie. London not
being the best office choice (Warsaw) against the priority given to spousal
sponsorship cases, as well as legendary backlogs at London CHC (is this true
still? backlog up to a year long ?!?). However I would like to hear which force
would prevail to determing the outcome..

2. Is it possible at all to get the medical done right now, or at least to speed it
up by asking for early issuing of medical forms that the doctor fills out? We are
planning on attaching a short letter asking for this, but is there any real point
to this? I want to save the time it takes at the end, it seems really impractical
to wait with the medical until its all decided and waste another month for it.

By the way, it took exactly 2 months with mailing times to get back a (positive)
response to my sponsor application.

Thank you, Milo
