now that all the stress is over and my visa is sitting in front of me here is my time line
spouse sponsorship from out side canada through chc london
july 6th 2004 sent complete application along with medicals and police checks to mississauga
august 19th 2004 my wife recieved conformation that she could be my sponsor
september 17th 2004 aor
oct 22nd 2004 request for payment of rprf
nov 11th 2004 pp request
nov 15th 2004 sent pp to chc
nov 24th 2004 got visa
spouse sponsorship from out side canada through chc london
july 6th 2004 sent complete application along with medicals and police checks to mississauga

Great news for you guys. I am in more or less the same situation as you except it's through common-law not spousal. I submitted to mississauga in early august and still have heard nothing other than the immortal words "In Process."
I remain optimistic and hope to get this sorted before may 2005. How long did the london office take with your application then? Did you not get called in for interview? The canadian side of things is traditionally much quicker than the english end, but you seemed to have fast tracked your way through. well done.
