At 382 you're a way off but keep an eye on the draws in case the points drop further. In the meantime have a look at the Job Humting section of the Wiki to understand how to go about finding a job offer and getting out there on a Temp Work Permit (at which point, you'd instantly get 50 more points).

One or two values do not an average make.

Statistically the mean value is still 472 (from Jun 2016). All time mean 502. 451 is now the value which corresponds to mean - 1sd.

Unless I missed it the OP hasn't said how old they are. If baby is only 6 months might there be a chance they're under 30?
