I am a little worried as I sent our alberta pnp application off 3 wks ago to Edmonton and have just called to confirm that they have received it (sent it by regular mail - wish I hadnt now) and the lady said that they can take between 4-6 weeks to show on the system.

Has anyone else had this and how long before you had some kind of response?

Hi Nikki,

I expect each province is different, NS took 6 days from the date I knew they received it to ack it and provide a file no.

You could have a look through the threads in the link below and see if you can get an idea of timescales

ok how weird is this. just had email from hubbys employer to say that alberta pnp have been in touch requesting copy of exam certs - talk about coincidence!!

Phew - at least they have received application.
