now we have just received letter stating

"to continue processing your application we require the additional
documents marked below

No I do not think that this is a waiver. I received a similar letter in the
past and I was required to attend an interview.

The reply from Andrew Miller doesnt seem like a normal Andrew Miller reply.
Is it again some imposter, or is it really you Mr. Miller ?

That said this really seems like an Interview vaiwer as they are asking for
Medicals, ROPF and updated bank statements which are all mostly after the
Interview.

You might be creating a World Record here Phil. The Fastest processed
Canadian Immigration case.

It is really me.

Anwer, what sounded not like me? The "Yup"?

It is clear that selection interview has been waived - although in some unlucky
circumstances interview may be required later for unforeseen now reason. But so
far it looks better than good...

Andrew,

Sorry to doubt your comments. Yes I guess it was the "Yup"

Is this the beginning of what the CIC has been promising of after the new
rules ?

I don't think that London cleared the backlog yet, but Phil's experience is
much better than what we should expect as soon as backlog is gone. There may be
more than one explanation for such speedy process, although it is for now
rather an exemption than the rule.

Wait a moment,

I got the letter that said they completed the initial assessment and they expect to finalize the process without interview and then they said to submit the documents as said here.

So, isn't there any difference between what you got and what I got ?

Most probably yes. My case was similar with yours. I got the same letter as
you did and collected the visa after I finished the Medicals. Congrats!

Thanks for all the positive replies

Let's hope this is a good sign for the future immigration process

Best get on and book my medicals for the family

What is the most likely reason they want to see upto date bank
statements ... just to check I have the regular income from the job in
Canada ?

Hi Phil,

Perhaps, you want to get a consolidated bank statement
of your checking/savings account from your bank.

I got mine that way.

Hope this info helps you.

All the best !

I was not asked to provide such statements. No idea of why you are.
