I have heard it can help to write a letter on invitation for a relative
trying to get a visitor visa to come to visit. What information needs to be
on it and what supporting documents, if any should be provided? Do these
letters actually help? For example if a person was marginal to get the
visa, would the letter make a difference? To be specific, my sister in law
wants to come to visit with her daughter. She is just finishing school so
has a few months before she starts work. She will have a job line up, but
not actually working at the time. They will stay with my wife and I.
Thanks for any advise or help. I just want to know if it is at all
realistic for this to occur.
