Default language tests

Hi,

I am about to submit my application for immigration to Canada as a skilled
worker. I didn't take any official language tests because I think I have
other proof to support my English knowledge (different other tests,
education, travel&work experience).

Would anyone advise me otherwise? How important is to take all the official
language tests?

Thanks.

Unless you grew up and were educated in an English/Speaking country, you
better take the test. As Andrew Miller has said numerous times, look at the
bench marks for substitution of ILETs or TEF, you don't want those valuable
16 points left to a subjective test, or wait for a year and be told to
submit test results.
