I am in US now, I plan to drive into Canada and land my PR in Toronto and return to
US I am looking for person who has done that, I want to know the whole issue of
crossing the boarder, including leaving US, enter into Canada, leaving Canada, and
reentry US. I need to find out more, the mroe details the better

If you have done that, please email me at

[email protected] (remove the "")

as soon as possible. I am kind of panicing now since the expiration date on my PR is
coming up fast

Greatly appreciated

I landed from US two weeks ago. The landing went very smoothly. Just make sure you
have your passport(un expired), landing paper and about $US7000.00 and an address in
Canada where you will be staying. I also suggest you make list of good you going to
bring to canada and list Serial number of your electronics items. Just tell the
border agent that you are landing and she will tell you where to park your car to
finish your landing process.

My landing took about 20 minutes. They didn't ask me to show them proof of fund. They
didn't even check the items I brought. They just took the list of items.

I haven't been able to enter to US because I don't have US visa. Actually I was out
of status in the US. If you are landed immigrant and from commonwealth country, I am
sure you will not have a problem coming back to US.
