Does any one know
If you require a one way ticket.

Let's see if you can answer the question yourself. If luggage is in the
cargo hold on the plane you arrive on, is that 'to follow' or 'with you'?
:-) Your answer to that one is the answer you want.
Cheers!

hi bob
i bought a return ticket to canada even though i knew i wasnt returning. the reason? its a hell of a lot cheaper to buy a return than get a one way. i think at the time it was £300 cheaper for a return. you just dont turn up at the check in when your ticket says youre "going home". airlines are so used to people not turning up or missing their plane that you wont even be noticed!!!
as for goods to follow. yes that is stuff that you have coming by cargo ie. your household goods that are being transported by container ship. its very straightforward when you get to immigration. you deal with them first then they will ask again about your goods to follow and they will send you to see customs in the airport to tell them all what you have sent. remember to take any paperwork you have from the shipping company in your handluggage so you can show them. they fill out more forms, give you copies and youre on your way.
good luck
