Landing as a PR in Toronto with a non-PR relative who is visiting
I received my COPR last week and have booked flights from the UK to Toronto for later this month. My brother (who is a non-PR) has offered to travel out with me for the first 2 weeks to help me get settled (then he will fly back to the UK). I will be arriving as a PR and he will be arriving on an ETA as a tourist.
I don't think this will cause any issues but I thought I would check to see if anyone had any similar experiences. I will make sure that he has his return ticket on hand, but is there anything else I should consider so that his arrival doesn't arouse any suspicion (i.e. they don't think he is planning to overstay his visit with me)? I'm probably over-thinking the issue but I don't want him to have any problems when he is just trying to be helpful.
