Hi everyone,
Finally I landed in Canada and became a P.R.
Here how it went:
After receiving passport request from Buffalo, We went to Buffalo on one Monday. On Tuesday, at 1.30pm, We have submitted the passport which took 2 minutes to do.
Then the following Thursday, we went there to the consulate around 1.30pm and got my passport with visa and Confirmation of P.R. My student visa has been stamped as canceled without any prejudice.
Since the peace bridge is located blocks away from the consulate, we directly went to peace bridge and landed immediately. The landing process went smoothly and I became a P.R. of Canada.
Though I was ready with proof that I am heading towards Montreal since I was immigrating with CSQ, the officer did not ask anything at all. May be it is because, I was already settled in Montreal as a student.
I am glad that I became a P.R of this great country Canada and wish you all the best to all of you.
Bye for now,
Ganesh
