I landed in Canada under the independant category Jan 2001.
The, there was no permanent resident card, simply a Paper (IMM 1000).

I applied for the PR card before the deadline of Dec 2003. But in my application for the same, inadvertently provided details of only 2 of the 5 trips I had made to the US. This happened as I had no record or recollection of my (very short - 1 week or 2 day) trips to the states, I only filled in what I remembered - which was actually the bulk of my days spent outside Canada.

I included the 78 Days between Jan and April 2001 and the 8 days in May 2002 (total 85 days) that I was in the US and left out 3 other small trips which amount to a total of 12 days.
This I have realised recently after going through my cell phone bill records and my concern is that when I apply for Citizenship a few of months from now, I would want to disclose 'all ' my leaves of absence including trips made outside canada subsequent to submission of my application for PR card.

My question is, would the discrepancy between the information regarding the # of days spent outside Canada (that I have provided Immigration Canada with my pr card application) and
what I would provide with my application for Citizenship cause a problem/ questions, or delay the processing time ? If so, what do you suggest I do. Should I fax/write to Immigration Canada now informing them of my mistake or should I simply take into consideration the extra 12 days, include that in the 'leaves of absence from canada' section of the application and apply for citizenship after completing 1095 days of physical presence in Canada ?
thank you for your response

If you are only talking about 12 extra days in the last 3 years, it is
immaterial for PR card. You should have your card by now or pretty soon,
check with CIC to see where it is.

For citizenship application, just make sure you have the 1095 days.

Default days spent outside canada - left out some days

thanks for your response pmm
the issue is not about me not getting the PR card - i received the same months ago. it is about my leaving out the approx 12 days ( total of 3 separate trips to the US) in my application for the PR card - which is now part of my record with immigration canada.

when i apply for citizenship, i would want to disclose the 12 days in my application ..

would not the discrepancy in the (incomplete) information already provided and what i will be providing in the next few months in my application for citizenship cause a problem ..
if so, what should i do now ?
best wishes,
karma
