Job Reference contact change

Job Reference contact change
The person who signed my job reference in my current firm has left the company now. I have up to date contact details for them and I also have agreement from the new person in their role that they will speak to CIC if they call to check my references.
Do you think I should contact CIC with the detail change on this of just leave it cause I'm being paranoid!!
