Hi,

After more then two long years of wait, I finally got an interview call for
Feb 2004.
I have tons of question in my mind about interview and stuff. Well, first of
all would it help to get a CAIPS file prior to interview. I think a few
people mentioned that CAIPS file could gives you an idea of whats coming in
interview.

I am writing down the history of my case to give you an idea and I'd really
really appreciate any tips and comments.

1- I filed for me and my wife in Nov 2001. I received the file number in
three months or so.
2- In Dec 2002 they informed me that they have moved my application to
Detroit visa office and they will contact me for an interview.
3- In Jan 2003 I got another letter that they changed the point system and
if my case doesn't get through by Jun (or July) then I will have to submit a
whole new application with some test of English and things like that (I
didn't respond to that one as I was totally frustrated with their procedure
at that time).
4- Now I got an interview call for Feb 2004.

Also, when they sent me the letter in Dec 2002 there were also some medical
forms included. Shall I go for medical examination before the interview or
can I do it afterwards?
Just one more question We are expecting a baby in a couple of weeks. Now,
shall I include the baby as a dependent before the interview or can I wait.

I'd appreciate any help...

If you are expecting baby in couple of weeks then it is obvious that your
wife can't complete her medicals - wait for the baby to be born, notify visa
post and submit updated forms, baby's birth certificate, photos and passport
copy, CAD 150 fee and ask for medical forms for baby. Once you have all
forms then go and do medicals at the same time. Do everything before
interview.
