Please share your experience with me, if possible

I submitted my immigration application in Beijing almost 4 years ago.
Now my family are in Edmonton. Recently we found our case status
changed to interview but not scheduled. We know exactly we can not
request for interview in USA or other places except Beijing.

What should I do? If I choose back to Beijing for interview later, how
can I come back to Edmonton again because my visa status is visitor?
Is there any possibility for me to do this in here?

Any advice or recommendation will be highly appreciated.

No, you cannot be interviewed in Canada if case is being processed in
Beijing. You will have to go there. If your status here is a visitor then
you will have to apply for new visitor visa in Beijing.
