Default Intervew call recieved from LA, Mr. Miller/Mr. Jim please help

As I posted in my previous posts that i applied for the canadian pr throught the Buffalo center in November of 2002. Aor recieved in june 2003. File was transferred from Buffalo to LA in February of 2004.

I just checked my e-client status last week and it says that Interview on 12 May 2004. I have not yet recieved an interview letter from LA consulate but i preparing for the interview i.e applying for US visa etc. I am in Pakistan at the moment. I was in the United States for about 4-5 years during 1997-2002 on Student visa. I dont know whether they give me the visa or not.

Now the question is that some how if i dont get the US visa then would i be able to request them a file transfer. If yes then how long does it takes normally.

If you are unable to get the US visa then you will have to ask the visa
office to transfer your case to Islamabad. But the policy is not to
transfer files and it is likely that you will be refused when they assess
the application without interview. Then, your only way forward would be to
re-apply in your home country.
