Default Info: Canada Job Network Inc.?

Hello everyone,

I have received a job offer from Canada Job Network Inc. for a position of a
Computer programmer in an unspecified "Canadian Company". Salary is stated
as 48k/year CAD.

I currently don't have a work permit, nor permanent residence in Canada.

Canada Job Network Inc. in association with Rosenblatt Associates law firm
requires me to pay fees ranging from 5,200 to 7,000 USD (total) for
arrangement of all documents (HRDC approved Job Offer, Visa). Also some of
the fee goes to their service to find me another job offer if original one
is no longer available once I land in Canada.

I wonder if anyone has any experience with before mentioned companies?

Is it possible to obtain HRDC Approved Job Offer and Canadian Work Permit
for a lesser fee somehow?

Any help or comments are greatly appreciated!

That job offer looks like scam. Personally, I won't commit that large
sum of money for something I dont know in details. I'd suggest you to
try find out more about exact company that gives you an offer. If
these guys aren't willing to disclose that info under any condition,
that obviously indicates something dangerous. They're basically
forcing you to commit to "company", about which you dont have any idea
about, like what are their products, what team they have... You dont
even know what you're going to work on.
They could even have a real job offer letter from some registered
company, which only has a single room rented in some motel, an office
Right after money transfer "company" could change their mind and
decide not to hire anybody because fo "bad market conditions"...
If you were able to get info about company, find some friends in
Canada, who could go check out everything on place about recruiting
agency and company that gave you an offer. Remember, once you
transferred them money, it will be almost impossible or not worthy to
take actions to get these money back, if you're not in Canada.

Which country you are in? Negotiate with them for paying the 50% of
the fee now and rest from your first salary in the job.

If it sounds and smells like a rip-off then it most likely is.

7,000 USD for hrdc validated job offer and work permit is ridiculous -
most of respectable immigration lawyers and consultants charge half of
that or less for the assistance in obtaining immigration visas. They
charge just few hundreds of dollars for work permits, plus maybe
another couple of hundreds for assistance given to employer to obtain
hrdc validation.

Pure rip-off - without giving you the name of the employer, details of
position (computer programmer is rather vague), terms of job, etc.
asking to fork out 7,000 USD, it is ridiculous. But this is what those
"firms" (including webimmigration and many others) claim in their
target countries - usually former soviet bloc countries where they
still can rip people off.
