Default inadmissability to canada, hey buddy!!

Hi, this is for buddy really. Neither I or my husband have ever been asked at immigration "have you ever been convicted of an offence? We have travelled many times to Canada. Neither of us have ever been in trouble with police but irregardless, we have never been asked. Just make sure you have valid answers for customs control, i.e. a place to stay, a reason for travelling and a return ticket home! I should add no one else i know who has travelled to canada has been asked that question either. Maybe its a new thing post 911.

It is a chance you take. If your fiance says no to the question and they do further checks, yes he is in hot water. If he says yes, he is also in hot water.
