implied status - how fast?

implied status - how fast?
Asking for a friend - can anyone tell me how quick implied status is for spousal support on an Inland application? Do you have to wait for a response from CIC?

You have implied status while you WAIT and until you get a response from Immigration Canada, provided they received the application for visitor extention or whatever prior to the current one expiring.
As far as I'm aware you wouldn't get implied status just by submitting an Inland Spousal Application - they would need to apply to extend their visitor status.. but you can check this on the website: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration...ding-stay.html
