Default Implementation of an excessive demand plan once landed?

Hi,

We had an excessive demand letter regarding our son who has mild aspergers and ADHD. We put forward a plan, which showed that we could find a place for him within a private special school - thus taking the excessive demand away.

However, his school here have bee talking about him returning to a mainstream school, but we do not know if we would be allowed to enrol him in a normal school in Canada and see how it goes.

Does anyone have experience of having their excessive demand plan enforced - please note I am not trying to get around it, we are happy to fund our son's schooling if that's what he needs but we also do not want to send him to a special school if he would do equally well within the mainstream enviroment.

Any advice would be very welcome. We are due to land in Nova Scotia in September.

Thanks
