I am a British citizen will shortly be entering Canada with a view to staying for an
initial period of six months. Can anyone tell me what I am likely to face upon
landing (what questions will be asked, what documents will be required etc)?

I would be very grateful for any responses.

An immigration official will seek to determine the expected duration and the purpose
of your visit to Canada. There are no standard set of questions which will apply.

You should possess documentation which demonstrates your intent to depart on the date
that you state, and which demonstrates any ties that you have to your home in the UK.
