What kind of regulation/ rules a there for moving (3) cats to Canada?

Do they need to be kept seperate for a few weeks, or not? If so, how long and where
do they need to be kept?

Thanx! Antoinette

I brought my dog from the states to Canada. All that was required was his health
record, showing he had his shots esspecially his rabies Connie

Your cat will have to have official proof that it has been vaccinated against
rabies. There is an inspection fee at the airport, but quarantine is seldom
required. Jim Humphries

The rules for domestic pets:

- Cats and dogs only ... others may or may not require health permits, import/export
permits, etc.
- A valid RABIES VACCINATION must be shown in ALL cases. This can be anything which
shows the DATE and the type of rabies meds used, or simply the date and "rabies
vacc.", usually from the vetrinary clinic.
- An inspection fee is NOT required when arriving from the U.S., but IS required when
arriving from ANYWHERE ELSE.
- The inspection fee is $32.10 ($30 + 7% GST), for one animal.
- Additional animals are $5 each (+ GST), if I recall.
