Immigration to Canada
Hello.
I'm 18 years old, living is Israel.
I recieved my recruitment date, it's March, 24th, 2003.
I want to immigrate to Canada alone (my family will stay here) now, live there, and not serve the army.
I have a couple of questions:
Can I obtain a student visa, although I don't want to serve the army?
If, lets say, i'm moving to Canada, and decide to return to Israel after a year of my recruitment date, what could be the punishment of not serving the army on sceduale?
While being in Canada, after my recruitment date pass, what will happen to my parents, they will be investigated by the police,
they could go to jail ?
Hope you'll answer my questions

Re: Immigration to Canada
to get a student visa you need first to get a place at a Canadian
Institution.
I had a friend at my university who was an Israeli citizen and when she
returned to israel they tried to make her go into the military but she
managed to postpone it by explaining she was doing her degree over seas
(which was apparently acceptable) but then she said she couldnt go back
without having to do it, so i presume if you levae now then you will have to
do teh service whenever you get back.

Re: Immigration to Canada
now, what about my family? the police will investigate them ?
If they'll want to visit me, they won't have the permit to get out of Israel?

You are asking questions that no one can really answer. Even if you got a student visa, how can anyone in Canada say what the Isreali police, Mossad or any other agency will investigate???? Sorry!

Ok, I got it.
You have/heard any idea of people who actually didn't serve the army in Israel? If you did, how did they do it? (legally/ilegally way?)
Sincerely
