Hello,
I have applied for the Canadian Immigration under the Skilled worker Category on August 28th 2002, my application was recieved by the Buffallo Consulate on Aug 30th 2002 as per the courier records.
I havent recieved any reciept from the consulate for my application as yet, Any one have any idea how long does it takes to get the reciept??
I also called the consulte, but I guess they dont entertain any inquiry requests over the Phone....

anywhere between 4 and 6 months, depending on their workload..

At least 20 weeks to the AOR letter, then about a year to the assessment
notice...

i applied in July 30th, the consulate recieved it on July 31st, and no AOR
yet.But I am not calling.I am waiting patiently, and so should you.

You should presently expect a delay of 20 weeks from the time that the
Buffalo IRPC receives the application until you receive the AOR.
