Immigrating from China : Immigration consultants
Hi, a friend of mine would like to immigrate in Quebec. She has been told by
people that she would better be hiring immigration consultants, thing she
wants to do.
The problem is knowing if the consulting company frauds its costumers or
not, that's why I would like to know if there is a website that lists bad
companies.
The company she is planning to do business with is HONG KONG GLOBAL
IMMIGRATION CONSULTANTS LTD.
This company is in Honk Hong, but has an office in her hometown of Wuhan, in
the Hubei province.
thank you very much
Vincent

Re: Immigrating from China : Immigration consultants
Tell your friend to stay away from offshore consultants and hire only
immigration practitioner based in Canada. Read here why:

Re: Immigrating from China : Immigration consultants
Stay away from consultants....hire a lawyer instead if you need at all...do it
yourself is the best....but stay away from consultants because they are not
regulated in Canada.

And how are lawyers regulated? They can rip you off just as easy!

Re: Immigrating from China : Immigration consultants
Lawyers are regulated by a bar association. Should they try anything
unethical, they will have to answer to the bar and to proper authorities as
well. Consultants are not regulated in any way, no training at all recognized
by the goevernment.

Re: Immigrating from China : Immigration consultants
"Stay away from consultants..."???
I don't see anything even close to your comment on the CIC page here:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pub/represent.html
Can you show me on the above CIC page where CIC advises to "stay away
from consultants"?!!
Or maybe it was one of your students in the university where you are
the English teacher... or your professor on another university where
you made your MBA... or maybe your bartender in Japan where you
claimed you live... or your friend from Nunavut where you also claimed
to live... or... or... or... who told you that? Or maybe you caller
Minister Coderre and he gave you such advice?
And why would CIC consult for years with immigration consultants all
changes to immigration law, why would CIC consult with immigration
consultants the best way to self-regulate the industry????

So? Does that mean they are all bad? No of course it doesn't.

Some bad spelling for a supposed english teacher.
Consultants would have to face the proper authorities as well if they broke
the law.
