Default immigrating to Canada

Hello,

I really would love to live and work in Canada, how hard would this
be?

I have not looked to far into this, any help would be great. If anyone
knows of any good web sites that may give good insight please let me
know.

I live in Minnesota and just have always wanted to move into Canada.

I know this question is vauge, but just looking for a start.

Citizenship and Immigration does a good job of explaining things at their
website www.cic.gc.ca.

If you need help after that there are several good professionals here in
this group that will often do an assessment of your case for free.

Default Family sponsoring

I am sponsoring my parents, and they are about to go for their medical soon.
When they come here, they want to bring their "belongings(antiques,
paintings)" with them.

I am not very sure about the customs for people like them, can they bring
their belongings as first time landed immigrants? Or how will they be
treated by the custome?

Thanks in advance for your valuable ideas,

Vit

Yes, they can bring them as settler's effect.
