There are a ton of opinions about which form should we submit, but none of those opinions are 100% sure.

As most of us, we are asked for the form IMM5707, but underneath the Section C there are Instructions which says:

This form must be completed by:

• each person, 18 years of age or older, or
• a minor (less than 18 years of age) traveling alone, and
• be a passport holder from one of the following countries:
  • Argentina
  • Brazil
  • Malaysia
  • Russia
  • Saudi Arabia
  • South Africa

If you require a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) and your passport is not from the countries listed above, you must complete the Additional Family Information (IMM 5645) instead.


The thing is, Im not from the country listed above and neither from the country that needs that Temporary VISA.

I read all the time that people form UK are filling the 5645 form, but UK doesn't need that temporary resident visa too.

So whats the correct play in this situation?

I have the exact same concern. I'd certainly rather fill in IMM5645 as that one you can fill in on the computer, while the IMM5707 doesn't seem to allow that!

From what people have said in the IEC thread it looks to me like IMM5645 is the correct one.

one person who submitted 5645, said that his document was vanished after a few days and he was asked for form 5707.
