IM5002, I`m stuck!

IM5002, I`m stuck!
I`m pretty much stuck on one page of the IM5002 application (inland common law sponsorship). This portion is for the principle applicant, ie me.
I was called at home, it was a lady at CIC saying my application has been opened but one vital piece was missing.
I need to fax the sheet detailing "my family members living outside of Canada".
Now, would these be my mother, father and brothers etc?
What am I suppose to do if my brother(s) do not have a passport, because it requests passport details for each person?
Finally, "type of dependant child". This is needed for each person, what the heck is that all about. The options given do not seem to relate to my mum, dad and brothers!
I told her I would fax this later today.
OR have I misread this page and is it relating to any children I may have in the UK? in which case I have none. Would I just put N/A on the form and fax that?
