Hi, my second IEC expires in the next week (I'm from the UK). My employer was going to get an LMIA but the work has dried up recently so can't really apply now. At this late stage I can't get an LOA from a college so will have to apply for a visitor visa and then apply for a study permit from there. Has anyone else been in this situation or have any advice on this process? TIA!

I think as long as you get the online application to change your status to a visitor before your current permit expires then you would be on implied visitor status until a decision on it was made.. No idea about the study visa though
