Not only I think, but I REALLY got it !!

Early July 2001 applied without police certificates
( stated I'd provide them as soon as I had them )
Application received by Buffalo CIC on 09 July 2001.
Application filed on 04 October 2001, AOR received
in early November.. Send police certificates from
four countries in November..
15 May 2002 received waiver and medicals, 12 June
did medicals.
Late July received request to send some more photos
and how tall I am. Send photos back in late August.
Late September received request to send passports to
Buffalo. Send them on 9 Oct, got them back on 24 Oct.

Total 1 year 3.5 months, could have saved 2.5 months
should I have promptly done whatever been asked for..

My case first appeared in the eclient in late May,
saying only they received my application on 9 July 2001,
filed it on 04 Oct 2001 and that it was in progress..
About 20 Oct 2002 in was updated and this time it said
decision was made and letter was send on 16 Oct..

My application was meticulously prepared and documented.

I'll not be moving anytime soon due to the crapy economy.
Hope it'll improve by March 2003 - my target date.
