well, its a matter of time. They have to do it before the expiry of our medicals, right ?? BTW , i am just thinking if they dont finalize it with in 12 months and medicals get expired then what we are supposed to do. Is it allowed to send inquiry to them asking them to explainw whats going to happen next and what is causing this delay ?

You don't have to wait until your medicals expire to send them a letter asking about the status of your application. But the letter won't do anything
I think in some cases they extend your medicals beyond the one year limit. I've also seen people given 3 months to land with their medicals about to expire.... I wouldn't worry about that, I think we will get ours a few months before medicals expire.
Where are you going to settle in Canada? I'm going to the Vancouver area. If I get my passport request in the next two weeks, I will land in February. If it is delayed, I will probably land around August.

Most of my friends in Canada are scattered all over ON. So at this time it sounds like my destination will be Toronto or some other ON city but i am working on a plan and InshaAllah will keep you posted.

My medical already expired in Dec, but I still haven't received any info from them yet.... God~~ what am I supposed to do

Well, Can'nt you send letter to them asking them to give you some idea whats going to happen next. Its scary man, i dont know what i will do if i dont get any response from them by July
